New Year’s Stories

I don’t particularly like New Year’s Resolutions. I don’t hate them. They just don’t seem to work for me. So here’s an alternative: New Year’s Stories. For example, here is a story I intend to live out this year.

Story #1: A college student (me!) decides to stop drinking so many energy drinks. To do this, he stops drinking them for the taste and works on his schoolwork during the day so he doesn’t have to stay up at night. Even though it’s hard (because he has easy access to them), he succeeds in reducing his consumption of energy drinks. And at the end of the story, he is healthier and happier and not dependant on energy drink.

I really like this idea. I borrowed it from Donald Miller’s blog (author of Blue Like Jazz). Good stuff. Check it out:

I added a poll to this post, and it would be great if you filled it out!
